Green Waste Collection Returns – Oct. 18–19, 2025

Updated 8/18/25: Thanks to renewed funding, Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue (TMF&R) will host a Green Waste Collection Event this fall at the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Station.

📅 Dates: Saturday, October 18 & Sunday, October 19, 2025

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (weather permitting)

📍 Location: Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Station

This program provides residents with a safe, convenient way to dispose of green waste, dry vegetation, shrubs, and tree branches to help reduce wildfire risk in our community.
